whoa. haven't blogged in ages. somehow, even though i've already taken chinese, i don't feel like i'm got a load off my chest. what with all the practicals this week, and the killer history test next week, i really have to plan my time wisely this week.

well. chinese os were fine on the whole i guess. i think i was a lot more prepared this year, and hopefully it paid off. as angelina said, the entire exam was in God's hands. we must really thank lee laoshi a lot. she worked so hard just to make sure all of us knew our stuff (:. she even took time out on saturday just to go through more stuff with the 3 of us.

the compo questions were easier than i expected - much manageable than last year's paper, anyway. laoshi went through the exact same question that came out for bao zhang bao dao in class. wow. and to all those people who mistook the gong han question as writing to the tv station instead of the radio station, don't worry too much yeah? i doubt they'll pinalise your marks much. the other paper was a lot harder than last year though. well actually because of the compre part... most of the answers can't be derived from the passage.

after chinese we wasted a lot of time in school, waiting to get our report book and stuff. i don't know whether i should even bother to try applying for rj through the direct admission thing. they want sec 4 results included in the application! and my present results just have to be at their worst ever. maybe i should just depend on prelims. i haven't actually decided which jc i want to go to next year anyway.

then we went to westmall. watched monster-in-law. bought birthday presents for rachel and dior too (:. after that we took a bus back to the mobil bus stop. and walked a long, long way in to old holland road to rachel's uncle's house for her birthday party. not to forget that we donated small amounts of blood several times along the way.

HAPPY 16TH BIRTHDAY RACHEL! even though i know very well that you won't read this.

well the party was pretty okay. as expected, there kind of was a segregation between the mg people and the snyo people. but ohh the food was so yummy! there was crayfish and mussels!
and lovely red ruby dessert too! absolutely delicious i tell you. a pity only the mg people seemed to be the ones taking many helpings. it was purely guilty indulgence ;).

oh we played xbox. it was my first time, and it was loads of fun! i must agree it's quite a good way to pass time, although there wasn't much of an aim to the game we played. the players are only equipped with the ability to jump, attack and defend. how sad.

ok that's all i have to say now.
